Lumen christi mequon live stream4/20/2023 ![]() Ray is survived by his four children, Raymond (Jeanine) Grimmer III of Coon Rapids, MN Judith (Ben Whitehouse) Grimmer of Wilmette, IL, Peggy (Linda Hartford) Grimmer of Iowa City, IA, and Cathy (Jerry) Murphy of Oconomowoc, WI. In March of 2020, Ray moved to Iowa City, Iowa to live with his daughter, Peggy. He was an environmentalist well before its time, preaching the importance of minimizing waste and increasing recycling.įor over half of his work career, Ray worked as an account manager at Bardes Plastics in Milwaukee, retiring in 1997. He also enjoyed football, skiing, swimming, basketball, bowling, and softball. ![]() ![]() Early on he took up tennis and golf, which he played avidly for nearly all his life. Their large ranch style home was one filled with love and raucous family gatherings, creating lifetime memories for their many grandchildren. In 1981, they moved to Glendale, WI which became their longtime home until Georgia’s death in 2013. Together they raised four children in their Shorewood, WI home. Norbert’s High School in DePere, Wisconsin and attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Ray was born Main Detroit, Michigan, the son of Raymond Grimmer I and Bernadine Beaupre. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross or Heifer International.
